General Description: Seeking a full-time Cloud & IT Administrator to manage and implement a variety of projects with a variety of clients. The majority of projects will have a with a major focus on Cloud technology including Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Infrastructure Services. Candidate must be able to perform deployment of new Office 365 tenants, Azure tenants, service subscriptions and be able to perform migrations of data and workloads from on-premise systems to the cloud. This position will be telecommute based when possible, but candidate must have the ability to drive to client locations around the Greater Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura counties. There will also be a requirement to attend weekly meetings at the Finchloom office location in Westlake Village, CA. As such, the candidate will be expected to be online and available (with the exception of while driving or on private time) at all times during the business day. In addition to performing deployments of Office 365 and Azure Infrastructure Services, the Cloud Administrator will also be responsible for general projects and tasks performed for our clients - the candidate with greater general exposure to these technologies is a significant plus: Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, VMWare/Hyper-V, Active Directory, Exchange, File/Print, DNS/DHCP, SQL Server, IIS Web Platform and Application Support. Candidate must also have a general knowledge and be able to speak to a Finchloom Solutions Architect or Business Analyst about the solutions and inter-dependencies of Information Technology areas such as: Network (Internet, WAN, LAN), Storage (SAN, NAS, Cloud), and Virtualization (Server, Application, Desktop) and be able to discuss projects both technically and from a business perspective. Candidate must also keep current and knowledgeable of all partner elements with Microsoft - including service offerings and descriptions, pre-sales advisory services, promotions, costs, best practices, documentation, and support. This role is a billable position to our clients and will be responsible for keeping accurate time records of work performed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop programs in partnership with Microsoft to understand, evangelize and promote Office 365 and Azure Cloud Services. At Finchloom, we call it "Doing it the Microsoft Way".
  2. Understand business needs and requirements of small-medium business clients (<2000 users) and develop statements of work to offer services to support their requirements
  3. Perform the implementation of Office 365 technical projects including migration of e-mail and file data
  4. Perform the implementation of Azure technical projects including migration of workloads to virtual machines, cloud based backup, and virtual networks and storage.
  5. Monitor cloud usage for Finchloom Clients and also triage support for them
  6. Create and maintain a catalog of solutions for Office 365 and Azure that can be packaged and re-used
  7. Test and learn new Microsoft technologies and provide suggestions to Flight teams for suggested solutions
  8. Create Technical Documentation - configurations, diagrams, workflows

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years experience with Office 365/BPOS deployments and migrations
  • 1+ year experience with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a Service
  • 5+ years experience administering Microsoft technologies and general IT systems
  • Experience with Hybrid deployments is a plus
  • Ability to learn new technologies
  • Passion for Microsoft technology and cloud services
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
