CLOUD & IT ACCOUNT MANAGER

General Description: Finchloom is looking for a Cloud Account Manager to acquire new business for cloud services packages. This will be a person with 1-3+ years of experience in sales - nurturing leads, developing a pipeline, managing a quota, negotiating and closing deals. The right candidate should have worked as a sales person within the IT industry or specifically selling cloud based technology or services. We want this person to work the Los Angeles and Ventura counties to find new business with small business organizations sized 5-50 users. The candidate will gain experience working with a wide variety of clients, exposure to new cloud technology, access to Microsoft sales and marketing training materials. They'll also gain direct mentoring from Jim to expand knowledge of cloud technology, sales techniques, and business understanding.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Prospecting - You will be generating your own leads by cold calling, networking, and using social media and e-mail
  2. Lead Nurturing - You will nurture leads and develop relationships with decision makers. Finchloom may provide leads from a list that can be used to nurture, and other incoming leads may come from the website or word of mouth.
  3. Quote & Negotiate - You will need to quote and present the solution to demonstrate the value of the cloud packages.
  4. Closing Deals - Ensure that all concerns and requirements are met, paperwork/contract completion, and collection of information to process the closed deal
  5. Marketing - To a small extent, market Finchloom by attending appropriate community or industry events, participate in social media (blogging, tweeting) to promote the brand
  6. Networking - Maintain constant touch and contact with a network of contacts - From suppliers to customers to vendors. Make connections at Microsoft and with other partner companies who can help service our clients
  7. Training - Understand the offerings of Finchloom and our partners (Microsoft, Ingram Micro, Skykick) and be able to effectively communicate the benefit and business value of products and services.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ years' experience as a Sales professional of technology solutions and services, developing leads and closing business
  • Experience selling or awareness of Microsoft Office 365 and/or Azure
  • Experience using a CRM product to track leads, record contact information and follow-ups
  • Ability to create sales materials - PowerPoint presentations, quotes, reference materials
  • Background in social media and ability to market ideals and services of a business to the public
  • Strong lead generation and nurturing skills
  • Friendly, positive and outgoing personality
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English

More Details:

Finchloom has an office in Westlake Village, CA. This position will be primarily telecommute with requirements to drive to client locations throughout the Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Visits to the office in Westlake Village will be 2-3x per month to meet with Jim. Finchloom does not provide benefits, but instead offers 5 days of Personal Time Off to cover sick/vacation and provides equipment to use (laptop and mobile). This sales position is offered at a base salary of $52,000 with a monthly commission based on recurring gross margin generated from sales. At hitting sales targets, this position would earn between $65,000-80,000k annually (base + commission).
